Here’s a pretty classy response from Ken Ham of Answers in Genesis when he found out that Richard Dawkins had suffered a minor stroke.
According to The Guardian, atheist and author Richard Dawkins suffered a minor stroke last Saturday, and is now home recovering. A statement was released, saying, “On Saturday night Richard suffered a minor stroke, however he is expected in time to make a full or near full recovery.”
Even though Dawkins has been a life-long enemy of religion and Christianity, we do need to lift him up in prayer, praying for his full recovery, well-being, and salvation. God is so much bigger than those who oppose him; therefore we need to humble ourselves and be in prayer for this man- a sinner in need of Christ, just like each of us.
Matthew 5:43-47
“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?”
